Bubbly sun rays
One from last year, trying to exorcise the Exposure 3 addiction of late.
This instead is SOOC, the sun rays were amazing and I just asked to my daughter to blow some bubbles. On second thoughts, I feel those bubbles are more a distraction than anything....

Happy Mother's Day - Auguri Mamma!
Tomorrow it is mother's day in Italy (and as far as I know in most other countries apart from UK) and I wanted to take the opportunity to wish all mothers, and especially my beloved mother, a wonderful day.
Domani sarà la festa della mamma e ne volevo approfittare per augurare a tutte le mamme qui su Flickr e soprattutto alla mia adorata mamma (che purtroppo non potrò raggiungere) una splendida giornata. Un bacione da tutti noi!

Jap maple
this is my favourite corner of our little japanese garden. In the last 3 years we have been collecting a few japanese maples and getting them to grow in our hot climate (july-august average temp is 35 C with many days around 40) has been both challenging and rewarding so far.
This is a quite rare Acer palmatum "Mufuri" and also our first maple.
