My melancholy blues
I particularly like this "portrait" of a singing white wagtail that I took during our recent trip to Finland. More than anything I like its almost melancholic mood.....at least this is the feeling that it gives to me :)

Beauty from ashes
Evening shot, hence the 1250 iso that ruins the quality of the image a bit, of a bush fire that arrived quite close to our house. Every summer these fires destroy large parts of the Sicilian woods (whatever little is left) and most of the time are caused by people (malevolently or not).

Finnish sunset
Bathing in these calm waters after taking a hot Finnish sauna at midnight was so refreshing.
